General Return Policy:
We offer a 30-Day Return Policy on Most Parts sold on our website. Please see the specific scenarios detailed below for items that may not be returnable. We will always work with you to exchange an item if you are unhappy, when possible.
Returns without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will not be accepted. Please utilize our self service portal by signing into our website using the same email you used to purchase your part. If you do not use the self service portal, the following information may be required to return items purchased from OEMHVACPARTS.com. Please have this info included in your email to us at Parts@OEMHVACPARTS.COM

- The Part # of the item(s) you are requesting an RMA for
- Return Reason (No longer wanted, wrong part ordered, defective, etc)
When you receive your RMA form, you will be provided with return instructions including all shipping information applicable. Some Returns may qualify for free return shipping and some returns may require you cover the cost and arrange shipping the item back. Most of the time, our returns are sent directly back to the factory as opposed to our warehouse due to space constraints.
After the factory receives and inspects your item, your return/refund will be processed on our website. This typically occurs within 30 days of the date the item is sent back to the factory. We will only return credits due to the original payment method due to fraud concerns.
Return Requirements & Scenarios
To qualify for a return, your item must typically be new, unused, and unopened. You may return almost any part purchased from us within 30 days of your order date for a refund.
Returning an Item Due to OEMHVACPARTS.com or Factory Mistake
If we or the brand of the part we sell has made a mistake, we will make it right with 100% Free Returns. This typically includes a free prepaid shipping label.
Returning an Item Due to Part Not Working or Being Defective
In some instances, we may require more information such as a picture of the item to ensure the right item was sent or more info on your specific unit to confirm the parts should fit. If the part is the correct part listed or specified for your unit but will not work or is defective, we will work with you to make it right at no cost to you.
Customer Remorse (No longer want an item)
If you no longer want an item and wish to return it, you may responsible for restocking fees. The restocking fees for our products range from 0 to 50% depending on the product, brand and category. Please do not purchase a part just because you think its right, reach out to us and let us confirm the part fits your unit or your needs so that you are 100% protected with a Free Return
Opened/Used Products
If your item has been opened OR used/installed you may still qualify to return the item but most of the time, these items can only be exchanged. This is not referring to the exterior box but the actual product packaging (such as shrink wrap, broken seals or ripped or damaged cardboard or packaging. If the item is returned, you will be responsible for any associated restocking or shipping fees that may apply.
Canceled Order
Submitted orders often cannot be cancelled. We utilize an automated system where one of our warehouses is instantly sent your order and begins working quickly to fulfill your order. We utilize 3rd Party Fulfillment Centers and once the fulfillment center is sent your order, it is their policy to not allow cancellations.
Please contact us immediately if you believe you made an order by mistake and we will do our best to cancel your order or provide alternate options.
Refusal of Delivery
If you do not accept any shipments sent by OEMHVACPARTS.com (excluding shipments signed for as damaged) the cost of shipping that item as well as any restocking fees will be applied to your order prior to a refund being issued.
Custom Items or Products Made to Order
Returns of products produced specifically for you, such as a programmed controller or another custom item are typically sent from the manufacturer which will not allow returns of these items. If we can re-sell your item, we may allow you to return to our warehouse for credit but that is on a case by case basis as space allows.
Installed Items
Once an item has been installed, it cannot be returned. Any damage resulting from incorrect installation is your or your installer's responsibility. Warranty claims may be possible, but it is at the discretion of the manufacturer whether to cover the costs associated with incorrect installation. If an item is defective (DOA), we will exchange the item and ship a replacement. We may require additional info to determine eligibility of this process.
Obvious Freight Damage
Please do not sign for damaged items. If your product is delivered damaged, please (a) refuse delivery and (b) contact us immediately so that we can process the necessary information and coordinate the exchange for you.
International Customers
- Additional taxes, duties, or fees may apply upon delivery. This is not something we can control and is not a valid reason to request a return.
- Using freight forwarding services may affect return protections as you have more chances for the part to damaged, transported incorrectly or the package damaged which could result in lost components.

Refund Policy
All refunds due will be returned to the original payment method within 30 days of the any returns being sent back. We base this date on the date that the item is recieved or marked as delivered by the shipping carrier.
